"I was grieving the decision to end a relationship. Then had the realization that I would have rather been in it than to have lost the person entirely. This became the premise for Without You. After sitting with the circumstance across different states and recording in various locations, the different thoughts and emotions that were lingering came to light in the form of song" - Neeks
